Cessna R/TR 182 Pilots and Owners

We're flying the same year and model! Would you recommend this mod even if I'm not doing a lot of short field work? Also, what do you imagine your increase in climb rate was post install? Thanks!

I hear from all sorts of forums that VGs slow down the cruise speed of their aircraft and sometimes pilots opt to remove them because of that.

I’m about to have one installed. I don’t have an engine monitor so I’m a little nervous. (Doing a panel later so don’t want to install an engine monitor now and rip out later)

Any advice before all of the parts get here and I begin install?
