Hey Todd,
Looked for our screen today and it appears to be missing. Parts Manual below indicates the screen is at the dipstick hole, so hopefully easy to access.

In removing the rear seat, I found the trick that works for me to accomplish without front seat removal is.
Move the front seats halfway to the forward stops. Also lower them to the lowest height.

Less than ideal Carb Air Box repair

Recent discussions an IA/A&P friend pointed out the repair on our carb air box was not a proper repair and that a rivet from that repair was missing. That rivet likely went into/thru the induction system and into the engine.
