En route FSS still valuable

In mid September our flight from CO to WI involved a line of Wx that prompted us to contact FSS en route. This old time method remains surprisingly useful and is often forgotten/overlooked. It was so worthwhile on this flight we sent the below note to the briefer to recognize her service.
