Replacement Rubber Fuel Line Connectors at Wing Root

Post by scottrsellers »

It’s likely most R/TR182s in service have old or originals in need of replacement. Dig the torque seal on the hose clamps too!

This is a small job that can turn in to a big one quick! Be prepared to cut the old hoses off with razor blade and pull off with needle nose. MIL Spec 600 fuel line was used. Considering the these lines won’t be replaced anytime soon again, I used new hose clamps with torque seal. I made sure hose clamp wasn’t over torqued which is common. One approved technique is to apply extreme low temp grease to aide in install.
