I I just got my two controllers reinstalled after a software update was performed to add the top flow induction curve, which reduces the timing 2/3rds of one degree for every inch of manifold pressure loss below 24 inches, instead of the standard curve, which reduces timing 2 degrees per inch below 24" MP. This is designed to help the CHT's run cooler at higher altitudes.

Electroaire has learned alot about the dual EIS system in the two years the FAA approved installation on Lycoming O-540's.
I have been using the dual EIS system on my R182 since May of 2023.
