Ground Speed Record?

236mph(206kts) GS is the fastest we’ve seen in level flight. Flightaware indicates this speed was sustained most of the trip - gotta luv these tailwinds. We ran LOP @12.8 gph so arguably could have gone faster. Cruised parallel to a Cirrus at the same altitude for about 20 minutes before he made a turn. Keep in mind this is a 300hp Air Plains conversion airplane.
