Main Landing Gear(MLG) Actuator Bushing replacement

R182 owner Bruce Wiley noticed fluid leakage at his MLG brake swivel fitting that turned out to be the actuator bushing working its way off of its shaft. He then worked with a machinist to produce a better than OEM part to replace the original. Inspecting this bushing's position should be included in your annual inspection of MLG actuators. Note the R/TR182 Parts Manual does not show this bushing on p.155, Fig. 56 per the below slides.
