If you've not performed this Service Letter item it involves replacing existing solid head bolts with drilled head bolts that can be safety wired. We found our MLG actuator bolts were backing out(1st photo below) so performed the Service Letter. New drilled head AN175H22A bolts(2nd photo below) can be sourced at Military Fasteners https://military-fasteners.com/

Ive done a ton of these, one thing to know is cessna screwed up this service alert. The 1978 R182s have different actuators and use 1/4 inch bolts; the correct P/N is AN174H22A. It is also much more critical on the 1978 birds to ensure the bolts are correctly torqued. If they get loose, they will snap off or destroy the threads in the airframe because they are smaller in diameter. I have a customer who bought a 78 sight unseen in CA. The prebuy was pencil-wiped, and when he got it back to GA, I found that one side had two snapped bolts and the third loose, and the other side had one snapped and one lying on the floor and the third loose.
