Scott,

Apologize for the delayed response. I was gathering pricing from the shop manager.

2. Yes, I would be the contact for questions, ordering, etc.

3. Over and aboves:

a. Bearing end repair if the ID of bore is oversized – $1750
b. Cylinder repair - $3750
c. Lock pin hole repair if egg shaped - $1850

4. An exchange is $3236 with a $14,500 core. The core isn’t charged up front; however, after evaluation of the unit, billbacks could apply for any of those over and aboves we talked about. Cores are due back 30 days after purchase and must be the -9 or -15. There would be no core bad beyond repair as we have plenty of replacement parts.

Hello Sam,
The attached pages from the R/TR182 Parts Manual confirms part number 1280514-9 is the correct actuator assembly.
Can you forward a picture of an overhauled unit ready to ship? Will share this with our group.

Are you the correct person to contact for inquiries from members of our group?

More questions below in Red.

Thanks

Scott Sellers

Hi Scott,

I spoke to the shop manager regarding this, and he believes it would just be part number 1280514-9 (actuator assembly). A basic overhaul (which includes service bulletin SB95-20 and upgrades the actuator to a -15) would be $2489 with a 5-7 week turn. There also could be over and above charges upon an evaluation of the unit which could also lengthen the turn time. An estimate would be sent after evaluation for approval by the customer stating the cost and turn time. Over and aboves could include:

• Piston needing repaired
• Cylinder needing repaired
• Bearing end repair if the ID of bore is oversized – Is there a typical cost for repair?

We also currently have exchange units ready to ship which is an option if the customer doesn’t want to wait, but pricing will be higher for this since they are immediately available. These have been complied with the SB.
What is cost of exchange unit that’s ready to ship? Does this involve providing a core for exchange? Is there a charge if core is bad beyond repair?

An overhaul of or exchange would come with an 8130 that states it has been complied with the SB.
