Rear seat install procedure while front seats remain in place

In removing the rear seat, I found the trick that works for me to accomplish without front seat removal is.
Move the front seats halfway to the forward stops. Also lower them to the lowest height.
Slide the rear seat back up and forward at the same time so it’s up and over the front seat top. So the rear seat is now horizontal or further forward so the rear seat back can also be vertical in front of the front seat back. (Roll it upside down so the rear seat is resting on the back of the front seat. Then the rear seat can slide out either side. We seem to do this several times a year for cargo.
The crack engineers at Cessna in the day likely ever tried to just remove the back seat.
We go through this when we take the bikes along on a flying trip. The 182 will accommodate two full size bikes or in our case a knocked down full size and a folding e-bike ,plus bags.
We have “D rings installed in the same locations as the rear seat connections for tie down straps
