Hi Chris,
More questions – 1) With Ly-Con porting & polishing of the factory installed Lycoming 0540-J3C5D(235hp) cylinders on the Cessna R182, how much HP increase can be expected? Note: cylinder PN 05K21231
2) Is the rubber crankcase seal available for use on certified airplanes like the Cessna R182?
If so what is the typical cost to cut & install the rubber seal?
Thanks
Scott Sellers

Scott
We’d expect to see 25/30HP increase in the dyno with ported cylinders
And yes, there is an STC on our case o-ring mod…so okay for certified engines. We charge $1278.00 to modify the cases
