I ordered the replacement seal from Cessna and glued it to the box - discovered the NACA duct and the air filter are not square to one another, so at the front side of the duct, the seal was being squished to a very short height, and by the back of the NACA duct, the seal was not tall enough to ...

I installed 2 of the BAS overhauled swivels 3 years ago in my R182 (I tried to rebuild mine myself with no luck . . . .) and they have performed perfectly. Would totally recommend these as they are half the price of new ones from McFarlane.

Just a note of information - on the R182's when the controllers are reprogrammed to 22 degrees BTDC, they are programmed to what Electroair calls the "22 degrees top induction programming" - This changes the BTDC timing, but also changes the advance timing curve. The standard curve starts the ...
