Re: How VG's effect R182 performance

Myself, Scott stellers and Paul new having been trying to get to the bottom of the issue for awhile. The airframe has been investigated, on to the powerp...

Front Axel nut cotter pin
Unfortunately, it seems that lazy shops are not using the appropriate method for nose gear axle nut replacement. I’m big on new hardware. Rather than using a cotter pin and nut, shops are using a nyloc for ease of install. Mine was corrected on new tire install.

Re: New Alternator Belt, zerc fitting on torque link, & NLG downlock pins & roll pins Per SEB95-20
We had issues finding the correct alternator belt. After few back and fourths with aircraft spruce we got it figured out.
Considering you need to pull the prop to replace the belt, I made sure it was a new one when I had the prop off!

Re: Replacement Rubber Fuel Line Connectors at Wing Root
This is a small job that can turn in to a big one quick! Be prepared to cut the old hoses off with razor blade and pull off with needle nose. MIL Spec 600 fuel line was used. Considering the these lines won’t be replaced anytime soon again, I used new hose clamps with torque seal. I made sure hose c...
