We asked our Garmin Dealer who performed the Service Bulletin to provide a log entry stating AD 2024-14-03 has been complied with so that when an AD search the logs is performed compliance is clearly stated and easy to find given the 12 month period to comply. They advised entering the following log entry to clarify compliance:
"AD previously complied with by complying the Garmin Mandatory STC Service Bulletin 22123 Revision A, Dated January 3rd, 2023. Reference (Garmin dealer) J.A. Air Center log entry for Work Order 10201-03-2023 on 03/24/2023."
This way an AD search of the logs will find both the SB and AD listed.
