Cracked Bendix Magneto face plate

At annual inspection of my brother's IO550-N the below crack was observed. Traditionally Bendix mags are viewed as more robust and rebuildable than Slick mags partly due to their superior design, which includes the housing. But these housings have been in service & rebuilt numerous times over their decades for service so may getting towards the end of their service life.
Keep an eye on your magneto housings!

Looks like someone over-torqued the harness plate nuts and pulled that stud too much. The torque on those is super small.
