EAA AirVenture 2025 Garmin GTN Introduction Pilot Training Seminar

Post by scottrsellers »

Garmin’s $90 - 2.5hr GTN Introduction Pilot Training Seminar at OSH which was well worth the cost. Our desktop station included the G3X, GTN750&650 as well as GFC 600 which include much crossover functionality to the GTX375 & GFC 500 in our airplane. If you go to OSH and fly these systems their in-person company trainers give personal attention to students that is priceless. They also offered to do remote a class for our type club if there’s interest. Let me know if you have interest and I’ll be we can do a lowered cost or free version.

Cool stuff. In a similar vein, I just finished the GTN750 "advanced" online course from Pilot Workshops and thought it was really well done. I love in-person stuff like the EAA session you noted here, but I also love having lifetime access to materials I can revisit as needed. The price (like most of the Pilot Workshops stuff) was pretty reasonable too.
