August 6th, 2025 trip KRAC(WI) to KFNL(CO)

Departed RAC knowing weather avoidance would be involved, given the storm cell sitting right on the route had tops to FL500 or higher and was moving south slowly. We stayed VFR for weather avoidance and Foreflight says the 1st leg to K82 Smith Center, NE was 4.6 hrs. That's a long time to sit in an R182. 2nd leg to FKNL was 2.5hrs totaling the day to 7.1hrs or R182ing about an hour of which was added for weather.
