SEB95-20 Nose gear actuator down lock pin inspection
Important to review/understand the SB to prevent NLG collapse. 2nd attachment is real world example of NLG collapse due to not performing SEB95-20.

Re: SEB95-20 Nose gear actuator down lock pin inspection
Any idea on a shop that’s done this and approximate cost?

Re: SEB95-20 Nose gear actuator down lock pin inspection
In late 2020 Air Repair in Prescott, AZ performed SEB95-20 as part of our prebuy and cost was $1300, which is approximately 10 labor hours. Air Repair's mechanics had maintained R182s so were familiar with this SB, meaning other unfamiliar shops may take longer/cost more.
We borrowed the drill guide tool(PN1290009-3) to avoid the cost of SK210-155(approx.$3000) which kept the cost low by avoiding the cost of the Service Kit. We're working on sourcing of the drill guide or Service Kit for a reasonable cost for type club members.

Re: SEB95-20 Nose gear actuator down lock pin inspection
The shop supplied the new roll pins & downlock pins, and I sent them the borrowed drill tool.
The rolls pins are commodity items and at that time the downlock pins were in stock at Textron and inexpensive.
Any experienced Cessna shop shop be familiar with SEB95-20. I know of an individual mechanic here
in SE WI who is familiar with it as well.
